Blog Post: Movie, Music and Bookish Stuff

Hey Ya'll! So I don't have a book review ready yet so I figured I would share some of my fan-life....

So...things I'm a fan of:

Jennifer Lawrence! I think she is an amazing actress and role model ;-) She's so down to earth and I love her sense of humor! Anyways, here's an interview of Jennifer with Ellen that I enjoyed.

I also love The Fault in Our Stars and am sooooo excited for the movie to come out!  Unfortunately, although the movie poster did come out, there is no trailer yet. I'm not sure how I feel about the movie tagline though...."One sick love story."  I feel like it's a bit twisted?? Anyways, what I did find is this awesome song Troye wrote shortly after reading the book....and it's really good and really emotional and you really should watch the music video for it below:

Alright...moving along is my obsession with Legend. Yeah, just in case I don't make Legend references enough in my blog posts, here's another one :-P  I simply fell in love with June and Day's characters....and their relationship is so...I dunno...emotional and totally believable and bittersweet (wahh! that ending...that ending!) Here's a pretty cool trailer I found for Prodigy, book 2 in the Legend trilogy:

Last but not least...have you heard of parkour or freerunning? They're both pretty awesome :-) Here's the definition of parkour according to google:

the activity or sport of moving rapidly through an area, typically in an urban environment, negotiating obstacles by running, jumping, and climbing.

And here's the definition of freerunning:

a version of parkour that includes acrobatic moves that are purely aesthetic.

Totally remind me of Day from Legend. You'll get what I mean once you check out these videos (assuming, that you have read Legend):
