Review:
The Adventures of Lara Craft was a laugh a minute. I really enjoyed this lighthearted novel and it made my day on those days that were a bit difficult. There were just so many moments where I couldn’t help but laugh and let the rest of the world and its stresses just leave me alone for a while. And being a university student starting to get close to lots of papers due, that’s a relief.

You will read this book laughing your head off, possibly blushing a bit and then silently thanking the heavens that you aren’t Lara Craft at this particular moment. Lara made the book that much interesting. That and the rest of the characters involved. The characters really made the book for me.

The characters were not all the same, and they all had something unique about themselves that made them stand out to the reader. Each character had their own quirks, twists and turns. But they all had something in common, they were not perfect and had their flaws. Just as they had something you loved about them there was something that wasn’t the best thing. Similar to real people you might just start to think they could be real as you read on.

The romance in the book was low-key for the most part but that doesn’t mean that it didn’t play a part. It just wasn’t as much the focus of the novel until closer to the end. And what an ending. I loved it and honestly I didn’t really expect it. Although I’m not sure if that was because I was listening to Lara’s thoughts or not paying much attention to the under current but focusing on the main action.

The Adventures of Lara Craft will have you laughing(sometimes quite insanely), possibly even shaking your head in disbelieve and sighing happily as well. It proves that true love exists if only in stories.
