Time in a Taiwan Bookstore

So I'm currently on my month-and-a-half long trip in Asia, hence my rather spotty posting/blog updates. As of right now, I'm in Taiwan. So of course, like the good little book nerd I am, I decided to check out the bookstore located in the mall (called Eslite Book Store). Mind = Blown.

Seeing many favorite and familiar books translated into their Chinese version was strangely surreal. Also, seeing the different covers for the Chinese version was pretty awesome. Trust me, I was tempted to buy all the books I could get me hands on. Alas,

I must be able to stuff them all into my suitcase so I limited myself to three books: Game of Thrones (in English), Confessions of a Murder Suspect (also in English), and of course, Legend (in Chinese). I was most pleased with my find of Legend in Chinese, as I have searched high and low in the US for it . . . Amazon, ebay, Barnes and Noble--none of these shops carried the Chinese edition of Legend. It even took some digging and four store employees at Eslite Book Store to find the Chinese edition of Legend (it was buried way deep in the backroom). Alright, enough talking. Happy readings!
