The 5th Annual Self Published Book Expo is this Saturday on November 9th! This is the only self-published book exclusive expo in America. The fact that it's located in New York makes location pretty convenient for New Englanders like me :-) Hopefully I will be able to attend the SPBE this year...trying to work out some schedule conflicts. But if all goes will, I should be attending the SPBE (and of course, blog about it!)
In addition to having the main floor exhibitions, there will be panels and lectures going on throughout the whole day. However, unlike the main floor, there is a $155 fee to access these panels. One-on-one conferences with experts in the field of publishing are also available for preregistration. Topics to be discussed in these lectures include:
*marketing
*funding for authors
*audiobooks and are they worth the effort
*tips for finding a great editor
*promoting books with social media
